Police received a 7:40 p.m. report that somebody might have had a gun in their waistband at 1101 Kirkbride Drive, but officers were unable to locate anybody suspicious in that area.

An 8:19 p.m. report of shoplifting at the Walmart on Brooksby Village Drive resulted in the arrests of Chelsy Ferro, 19, of 16 Herbert Ave., Peabody; Nicole Ferro, 23, of 16 Herbert Ave., Peabody; and Christy In, 19, of 263 Lowell St., Peabody, each on a charge of shoplifting.

A 10:53 p.m. report of a domestic dispute at 6 Dyer Court resulted in the arrest of Gina Smith, 29, of the same address, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Monday

Police responded to 301 Newbury St. after a 5:12 p.m. report that a dog was locked in a vehicle. An officer was unable to locate it.

Middleton

Monday

At 3:12 p.m., officers assisted the state police in executing a search warrant at 188 Boston St. and arrested Stephen M. Neal, 56, of the same address, on charges of distribution of obscene matter and distribution of material of a child in a sexual act, an officer said. Police seized at least two computers from Neal’s residence during the incident. Neal was booked in Middleton and then transported to the state police barracks in Danvers.
