Kids: Draw us the weather

Calling young artists, teachers and aspiring meteorologists! The Salem News is seeking weather art from local children to appear with our daily forecasts.

Each day, a picture that displays a scene similar to the day’s weather will be chosen to appear on either the front page or the weather page of The Salem News, along with the child’s full name, grade and school.

All types of weather are needed, but we especially need weather typical for the months ahead. Artwork should be in color and on standard-size paper.

The child’s name, grade and school must be written on the back, and an adult should check spelling and legibility.

Weather art can be mailed to The Salem News, Attn: Muriel Hoffacker, 32 Dunham Road, Beverly, MA 01915.
