Two stabbed, another injured, in Beverly

BEVERLY — Three women were injured in a stabbing tonight after what was reportedly an argument among neighbors at 34 Grant St. in the Gloucester Crossing neighborhood downtown.

The victims were rushed by ambulance to Beverly Hospital. No information about their identities or medical conditions was yet available.

As of 7:45 p.m., there were three or four people sitting on the porch with their hands behind their backs. About half a dozen Beverly police cruisers, as well as at least two fire engines, descended on the scene. About 50 neighbors also came out of their homes to see what was going on.
