Police received a 4:59 p.m. report that a man had slapped a girl across the face at Fort Avenue and Webb Street.

Peabody

Thursday

Police received a 2:35 p.m. report that a group of teens “may be involved in a fight” near Pierpont Park, but an officer determined they were actually “getting ready to play basketball.”

A County Street woman reported at 6:19 p.m. that her 171/2-year-old daughter had moved to her grandmother’s home in Beverly and was having relations with a 36-year-old man in the neighborhood. “Mother just wanted it noted the she was not in agreement with this relationship between her daughter and this older man but realizes that there is nothing illegal at this time,” police wrote.

Somebody reported at 6:42 p.m. that a skunk was stuck in a drain pipe near 36 Veterans Memorial Drive and children were abusing it. “Officer was able to free animal,” police wrote later.

Friday

At 10:34 a.m., an officer at 108 Newbury St. arrested Randall A. Andino, 45, of 20 Keayne St., Revere, on a charge of conspiracy to violate drug law.

Danvers

Thursday

A vehicle at 17 Folly Hill Drive had been broken into, according to a 5:27 p.m. report.

Police received an 8:15 p.m. report of a prank involving a green laser at 7 Hussey Ave.

Police conducted a traffic stop on Endicott Street at 9:21 p.m. and arrested Jesse Silva, 25, of 60 Fulton St., Peabody, on charges of failure to stop, operating a motor vehicle in a violation of license class and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Friday

Police received an 8:21 a.m. report that an iPod had been stolen from a vehicle at 7 Sycamore St.

A 2:59 p.m. report that somebody had tried to shoplift a drill set from the Home Depot on Newbury Street resulted in the arrest of Sean Driscoll, 21, of 41 Omeara Court, Charleston, on a charge of shoplifting by asportation.

Ipswich

Friday

By 8:30 p.m., the Fire Department had extinguished a blaze at the office of Agawam Village, 34 County Manor. Firefighters were still on scene checking for extension as of 9:40 p.m. Rowley provided station coverage during the incident.
