First one-ton pumpkin ever weighs in at Topsfield Fair

TOPSFIELD — The first ever one-ton pumpkin was officially weighed in at the Topsfield Fair's New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off this evening.

The great pumpkin was grown by Ron Wallace of Greene, R.I., and weighs 2,009 pounds.
