SALEM — Will he or won't he?
Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich is expected to have a lot to say about President Obama and American foreign policy when he speaks at Salem State University this week.
He also is expected to field a lot of questions, including whether he plans to run for president.
The conservative Republican, who has been making stops all over the country in recent months, said he expects to announce his decision within a few weeks.
There are still tickets available to hear Gingrich, who speaks Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the O'Keefe Sports Center on Canal Street.
Tickets — $20 general admission, $10 student — will be available at the door by cash or check.
Gingrich is the kickoff speaker in Salem State's 2011 speaker series. Author John Irving will appear Sept. 13.
