A young male was transported to Salem Hospital after a 6:25 a.m. report that he looked to be in “bad shape” near 646 Humphrey St.
Police received a 9:25 a.m. report of an erratic operator at Pleasant and Washington streets. Police wrote later: “Party is OK. Going through a tough time now. No issues. Clear.”
A custodian at the school on Pleasant Street reported at 9:31 a.m. that his “skateboarder friends” had affixed stickers “with drawings of marijuana leaves and also written on with #stayblazed” to the building and buses. Police wrote: “He has removed all the stickers already.”
A 9:53 p.m. report that a man was “screaming” and “swearing” brought police to a Lincoln Avenue address, where they determined he had fallen off his boat while shrink-wrapping it. “He denies any injury,” police wrote.
Swampscott police reported at 11:38 p.m. that they had an Ocean Avenue resident’s son’s “missing backpack, wallet and beer.” Police wrote: “They will release two of the three to the family.”
A woman on Crown Way reported at 3:44 a.m. that she had been awakened by a man yelling, “Fire, fire, fire.” Police wrote: “She looked outside and doesn’t see anything and it is quiet now.” Police and firefighters were unable to locate anything suspicious in the area.
Police conducted a traffic stop on Andover Street at 2:37 p.m. and arrested Michael F. O’Connor, 26, of 52 Elm St., Salisbury, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to stop or yield. He was also wanted on two warrants, according to the log.
A Lynn Street woman reported at 6:12 p.m. that her purse had been stolen and she had a suspect, but police wrote later: “Suspect was never witnessed taking anything.”
