Police responded to Bridge Street shortly before 6 p.m. after a report that a woman was causing a disturbance and determined she was “simply upset because she missed a scheduled bus pickup.”
About 7:15 p.m., an officer at Lafayette and Harbor streets arrested Christopher R. Muolo, 25, of 131 Cottage St., Lynn, on charges of disorderly conduct and violating the city’s knife ordinance.
A 7:39 p.m. report of a possible break-in brought police to 44 Butler St., where they determined somebody had apparently thrown rocks through the windows. While speaking to the man who lived there, “he related that he has been receiving hang-up phone calls from an unknown number which he believes to be his ex-girlfriend,” police wrote.
An 11:44 a.m. report of a domestic dispute on Brittania Circle resulted in the arrest of Calvin Leroy Bailey, 60, of 9 Brittania Circle, Salem, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
A Weatherly Drive woman reported at 2:02 p.m. that somebody had apparently stolen two lights and a chime from her porch. A “leafy Halloween decoration” had also been “ripped down off the porch and broken,” police wrote. The woman suspected her ex-boyfriend was responsible.
Police were unable to locate a male who was reported to be yelling at a clerk at a Cabot Street store at 6:45 a.m.
A woman was possibly stalking a man on Rantoul Street, according to a 9:14 a.m. report.
Police received a 12:48 p.m. report that a pickup truck’s tailgate had been stolen at 236 Rantoul St.
A 2:51 p.m. report that two young children were sleeping in a vehicle brought police to 1201 Broughton Drive. Police wrote later: “Mother was allowing child to sleep after driving from Gloucester to visit her sister.”
A 2:54 p.m. report that $1,700 had been stolen somewhere on Dodge Street resulted in the arrest of Justin A. Lessard, 18, of 94 Timson St., Lynn, on a charge of larceny over $250.
