Police noted “multiple calls from unknown Spanish speaking female who yells and plays music in the background,” from Allens Lane as logged at 10:45 a.m. Calls were repeated at frequent intervals on both Wednesdays and Thursdays. The source or reasons for the calls could not be determined.

A scam on Craig’s List was the complaint from a Summit Street resident at 12:31 p.m.

The rain resulted in a report of the beginnings of a flood at Main Street and Eagan Place, as logged at 12:33 p.m.

An Allens Lane resident reported at 1:32 p.m. prescription medicine stolen from his residence.

It wasn’t ice — a report at 5:16 p.m. of a slippery road on Baldwin St. at Lowell stemmed from a diesel fuel leak.

A woman taking her child from the stroller at the Northshore Mall turned to find her pocketbook gone, as logged at 6:34 p.m.

Dad and daughter were involved in a dispute at MacArthur Circle. A caller reported the daughter pushed to ground at 7:10 p.m. The 53-year-old father and the 23-year-old daughter are both to be summonsed for domestic assault and battery.

A fight at Champions Pub on Foster Street, according to the log at 11:07 p.m., sent one person to Salem Hospital. “Suspect left the area before officers arrival.” The suspect also proved to be camera shy, as the battle took place beyond the vision of the security camera.

The storm resulted in a flooded basement on Walsh Street reported at 11:32 p.m.


Lisa E. Roberts, 49, 4 Florence Road, Peabody, was arrested, as logged at 12:27 a.m., at her address on a charge of domestic assault and battery.



Sean Christopher Dolan, 38, 6 Surf Lane, Kennebunk, Maine, was arrested, as logged at 5:19 p.m., on Perkins St., by patrolmen Sean Andrus, Rafael Gonzalez and Ryan Davis. Police had responded to a call describing an “out-of-control son.”

Juan Pablo Fernandez, 33, 42 Peabody St., Salem, was arrested, as logged at 6:27 p.m., on Prince Street, by patrolmen Rafael Gonzalez and Sean Andrus on charges of running a stop sign and possession of cocaine. “A small amount of cocaine was discovered” following the traffic stop, according to the report.

Theodore E. Giesbrandt, 34, 5 Gardner St., Salem, was arrested, as logged at 9:13 p.m., at his address by patrolmen Rafael Gonzalez and Sean Andrus on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of domestic assault and battery. Police had responded to a dispute.

A complaint at 9:36 p.m. regarding a fight at Gallows Hill Park turned out to be inspired by a football game. Police advised the players to “call it a night.”

A driver on New Derby Street will get a summons for driving after suspension of her license following “a random computer registration check,” logged at 10:18 p.m.


A woman appeared at the Tavern in the Square at midnight so drunk she couldn’t say who she was, where she came from or who might come for her. Police took her into custody only to discover mom was downtown looking for her.

A drunken man hopped in a cab on Margin Street and promptly passed out before he could even say where he wanted to go. Police were called at 12:37 a.m. and they took him into protective custody.

No arrest followed a fight on Wheatland Street, logged at 1:15 am. The combatants reported a kicked barrel, two women screaming in the street, a woman bystander knocked down, but no visible injuries on anybody. Officers suggested the fighters could level charges at the district court.

Brandon D. Dixon Jr., 26, 101 Mason St., Salem, was arrested at his address, as logged at 2:02 p.m., on charges of assault and battery by a dangerous weapon and intimidation of a witness. Responding were patrolmen Michael Levesque, Mark Fabiszewski and Sgt. Robert Lubas.



Police investigated a 7:45 p.m. report of a domestic assault and battery at Collins Avenue.

A report at 11:54 p.m. of a fight at the Maple Street Tavern drew police.



Lisa Daley, 49, 4 Jayne St., Peabody, was arrested, as logged at 10:07 p.m., at Hawkins and Rowley roads, on a charge of drunk driving by patrolmen Chris Sanborn and Kelly Pickering.



A fight on Memorial Drive led to two arrests. Michael Kehoe, 18, 88 Ipswich Road, Boxford, was arrested, as logged at 6:30 p.m., on charges of being a minor in possession of alcohol, possession of a class D substance and the unlicensed operation of a vehicle by Patrolman Dave Bettencourt. Richard Louissaint, 21, of 9 Memorial Dr., was arrested, as logged at 8 p.m., on charges of unarmed robbery, disturbing the peace and being disorderly by Patrolman Michael Lecolst.
