Malbin Hernandez, 24, of 79 Fayette St., Lynn, and Spencer Wessel, 26, of 57 Prospect St., Woburn, were arrested at 3:23 p.m. in the vicinity of the Northshore Mall Nordstrom on charges of possessing a Class A drug with the intent to distribute. Hernandez was also charged with disorderly conduct.

Peabody Fire Department personnel played Houdini when an infant was discovered at 4:38 p.m. at the Northshore Mall inside a locked and running Ford Edge. They got the child out.

Pedro A. Neto, 47, of 2R Aaron St., Framingham, was arrested at 6:56 p.m. on Lake Street on a charge of driving without a license and for a lights violation. A second person will be summonsed for allowing Neto to drive.

At 7:02 p.m., an Aborn Street resident reported that his Canon camcorder was stolen from his vehicle on Nov. 5.

Complaining at 7:33 p.m. that her husband was abusive, a woman told police they were arguing “over who was going to sit on the couch,” according to the log. “Both parties went into different rooms for the evening.”

Piercing Pagoda at the Northshore Mall reported a major loss at 8 p.m. Between Oct. 8 and Nov. 1, according to the log, $19,469 in cash went missing, along with $86,365 in merchandise.

Manuel J. DaSilva, 55, of 6 Gillis Drive, Reading, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. on Lowell Street by Officer Lonny Johnson on a charge of drunken driving.


A two-car accident near Capone’s Restaurant on Summit Street sent Susan Perry, 59, of 4 Granite Road, Peabody, to Salem Hospital via Atlantic Ambulance.

Chester F. Bowen III, 33, of 3 Arrowhead Trail, Ipswich, was arrested at 1:22 p.m. at the Northshore Mall Sears on a charge of shoplifting.

Burglary on Holten Street is being investigated after a woman reported at 3:27 p.m. that she discovered her bedroom window was pushed in and money taken.
