---- — HAMILTON — A Saturday night party featuring underage drinkers will result in 42 people being summonsed to court on various offenses.
Police officers Andrew Neil and Michael Giroliman interrupted the party on Cullivan Lane at 11:10 p.m., finding a large number of minors drinking, according to police.
James Bookman, 17, of 4 Cullivan Lane was named as the host of the affair. He will be charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol, furnishing alcohol to minors, contributing to the delinquency of minors and disturbing the peace.
He could also face charges under the “social host act,” according to police, who say the case is still being investigated.
Bookman’s parents were not at home at the time of the party, police said.
Assisting Hamilton police were officers from Wenham, Essex and the state police.
