Marblehead

Wednesday

Police responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of 88 Beacon St. at 4:42 p.m., when a 2002 Dodge pickup truck hit a pole. The driver was taken to Salem Hospital. There was damage to a wall near the crash scene.

Thursday

An employee at Marblehead House of Pizza reported a fist fight in front of an Atlantic Street restaurant at 2 p.m. The people fighting left before police arrived.

A Trager Road resident reported to police at 5:54 p.m. that cars were parked on the sidewalk across the street from her home due to the winter parking ban. She said she had to look at the cars all winter and would like something done.

Friday

Police received a report at 5:23 p.m. of a drunken man going door to door and later leaving on a bicycle carrying a stick. Police found the man and took him into protective custody.

Saturday `

An Atlantic Avenue resident reported to police at 10:19 a.m. that a well-dressed man came to her door a week ago saying he was there to service her account. She said she called Verizon and they said they never send people to service the account, and that the man did not work for Verizon. Police told the woman to call them if he returns.

A resident of Manataug Trail reported to police at 10:44 a.m. that his neighbor, who is moving out because of a foreclosure, is trying to take a large boulder with him. The neighbor later said the boulder was now in the middle of the street and cars could not get by. Police responded and said heavy equipment would be needed to move the boulder. Police said there is enough space for emergency vehicles to move around the boulder. Public workers will move the boulder Monday morning.

Danvers

Friday

Roberta Gaglione, 26, of 13 Center St., Peabody, was arrested at 5:13 p.m. and charged with larceny of more than $250 following a report of a shoplifter at Nordstrom Rack.

Police responded to the intersection of Conant Street and Burley Farm Road at 8:20 p.m. following a report of a hit-and-run accident involving a bicyclist and a car. Police found the bicyclist, a 48-year-old Danvers man, on the ground complaining of head and leg pains, according to police Lt. Carole Germano. Germano said the bicyclist was on Conant Street heading toward Danvers Square when he was struck by a car on Conant Street turning left onto Burley Farm Road. The bicyclist, whom police would not identify, was taken to Beverly Hospital by ambulance.

Police received a report at 8:24 p.m. of a vehicle at the Liberty Tree Mall parking lot being vandalized.

Police received complaints of youths at the post office at 9:23 p.m. and later at Supreme Roast Beef at 10:30 p.m. Police dispersed the groups.

Saturday

Matthew Wallace, 26, of 16 Friend Court, Wenham, was arrested at 4:16 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license following a motor vehicle stop on Locust Street.

Police received a report at 4:24 p.m. of a car break-in on Maple Street.

Dana Michaud, 17, of 6 Sprague St., Peabody, was arrested at 4:57 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at Walmart.

Margaret Soto, 37, of 104 Harvard St., Malden, was arrested at 6:15 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at Kohl's.

Salem

Friday

Police received multiple reports in the morning of cars being keyed on South Pine Street.

The company building a walkway by the river reported to police at 1:09 p.m. that it appeared someone had entered the property where they are storing their supplies. The company is working out of the National Grid substation on Peabody Street. The worker for North Shore Marine said nothing was taken, but he requested extra checks of the property at night.

Police and detectives investigated two reports of break-ins at two homes on Calumet Street at 3:15 p.m. The residents reported to police that jewelry and some cash were stolen.

Lisa A. Gallant, 38, of 54 Pacific St., Lynn, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. at the Northshore Mall by Peabody police following a report at 5:30 p.m. of a domestic dispute. She was charged with domestic assault and threatening to commit a crime.

Police received a report at 7:03 p.m. that a 1995 Oldsmobile Siera was stolen from 1000 Loring Ave.

Daniel G. Taylor, 23, of 211 Jefferson Ave., Salem, was arrested at 9:53 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct after police said they spotted him walking on Chase Street, a "high crime area." Police said when Taylor spotted police, he turned away and put a hood over his head. Police said Taylor began yelling at the police when they pulled up and called them "fascist pigs." Police said Taylor was drunk. They wrote in their report that they wanted to take him to the lockup for protective custody, but he resisted going into the cruiser and then punched the partition and windows in the cruiser. At the police station, police said Taylor mooned the police and gave them the middle finger while having his mug shot taken.

A woman told police at 11:30 p.m. that she put a bag containing her cell phone, wallet, shoes, and keys on top of her car and left. When she realized she left the bag on top of the car, the woman returned to where she had just left from, the intersection of Chestnut and Summer streets, but the bag was not there.

Christopher D. Hagen, 33, of 17 Hovey St., Lynn, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license (second offense) and an equipment violation following a motor vehicle stop on Endicott Street.

Saturday

Christopher J. Yocum, 31, of 44 Brookside Ave., Danvers, was arrested at 1:24 a.m. on a warrant for domestic assault and battery following a report of a domestic dispute in front of the Knights of Columbus in Salem on Friday.

Salvador Montesinos, 17, of 28 Forest St., Lynn, was arrested at 2:29 a.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed and a red light violation following a motor vehicle stop on Bridge Street by Flint Street.

Police received a report at 11:30 a.m. of a car break-in on Wisteria Street.

A juvenile was arrested at 3:33 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery, malicious destruction of property more than $250, and assault with a dangerous weapon (a knife) following a family dispute on Piedmont Street.

Police received a report at 8:35 p.m. of a car break-in on Harbor Street. The owner said the ignition was damaged and root beer was dumped all over the interior of the car.

Brian M. French, 25, of 1A Sutton St., Peabody, was arrested at 11:10 a.m. and charged with trespassing, possession of burglary tools and two counts of attempting to commit a crime (breaking and entering) following a report of a suspicious person in the area of Rockdale Avenue.

Police received a report at 4:39 p.m. that two chain saws were stolen from a landscaping truck parked at Highland Gardens on Highland Avenue.

Hubert H. Owens, 56, of 15 Corman Road, Lynn, was arrested at 4:44 p.m. and charged with shoplifting (sixth offense) and disorderly conduct following a report of an "unruly shoplifter" at Target. Police said Owens tried to steal 20 cans of Red Bull, four cans of tuna and a package of doughnuts. Store security, who are familiar with Owens, told police they stopped him as he was about to leave. Security said Owens then became loud and began bothering other customers. Owens also struggled with security as he attempted to leave.

Friday

Police received a report at 4:38 p.m. of a car break-in on Bow Street.

Christine A. DiSaia, 41, of 84 Menlo Ave., Lynn, was arrested at 5:25 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1.

Saturday

A Lynn man reported to police at 9:53 a.m. that someone opened a credit card in his name and charged more than $6,000 to buy jewelry from Belden Jewelers.

Katherine DeCoste, 49, of 33 Perkins St., Apt. 3, Gloucester, was arrested at 1:37 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at J.C. Penney.

A high school student was injured at the powder puff football game at 2:18 p.m. and taken to North Shore Children's Hospital. Later at the game, police received two reports of theft from the girls locker room. One student reported a cell phone stolen, and another student reported a $200 Coach wallet with cash and credit cards gone.

Thomas A. Mello, 59, of 26 Veterans Memorial Drive, Peabody, was arrested at 3:14 p.m. and charged with driving with a revoked license following a motor vehicle stop on Centennial Drive.

Police received a report at 3:26 p.m. of a car break-in at Holiday Inn on Route 1 north.

Joshua R. Doucette, 18, of 35 Lynn St., Peabody, was arrested at 4:13 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at Sears.

Ena Perdomo, 42, of 211 Faywood Ave., Apt. 297, East Boston, was arrested at 5:56 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at Macy's.

Shequitta Mable, 22, of 8 Eutaw Ave., Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested at 7:20 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery and disorderly conduct following a report of a man and woman arguing in the parking lot of Macy's.

Sunday

An Ipswich woman reported to police at 2:36 p.m. that her credit cards were used at Nordstrom at the Northshore Mall.

Police received a report at 3:08 p.m. of a car break-in at Magnolia Way.

Nelly Herrera, 24, of 134 Woodland St., Lawrence, was arrested at 4:33 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at J.C. Penney.

Middleton

Sunday

Osmar R. Krische, 33, of 12 Greenwood Place, Apt. 5, Lynn, was arrested at 10 p.m. and charged with drunken driving and a marked lane violation of a report of an erratic driver on South Main Street.

Beverly

Friday

Everaldo R. Reis, 32, of 9 Bartlett St., Beverly, was arrested at 2:57 p.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed following a motor vehicle stop on Route 128 north.

Passang W. Sherpa, 18, of 11 Marsh St., Gloucester, and a 16-year-old Beverly boy were arrested following a 5:45 p.m. report of an armed robbery inside a car. The victim ran to Patrolman John McCarthy, who was on a detail at North Beverly Plaza, and told him he had been robbed. He told police he was picked up at 5:15 p.m. by a friend, the 16-year-old. Later, the two picked up Sherpa. The victim was not friends with Sherpa and did not know his name. After driving around for 15 minutes, the victim said Sherpa pulled out a gun, cocked it and showed him a bullet. The victim was able to get out of the car while on Enon Street and ran to the plaza. Police arrested the juvenile at his home. Sherpa responded to the station for questioning and was later arrested.

Wayne M. Silva, 55, who is listed as homeless, was arrested at 7:47 a.m. and charged with open and gross lewdness following a report by a passenger on the MBTA commuter rail of a man masturbating on the train.
