Peabody

Thursday

A Fairview Avenue resident reported a "Christmas kissing ball" stolen from the porch.

A breaking-and-entering on Lynn Street involved six broken windows, damaged doors, a broken TV and nothing stolen.

Michael Vieira, 22, 24 Walcott Lane, Revere, will be summonsed for driving without a license on Andover Street around 12:30 p.m. by Patrolman Mark Saia.

A Jack Russell terrier without visible means of support was brought into the station just before 1 p.m.

Aimee Shea, 24, 77 Centennial Ave., Gloucester, was arrested at Sephora on Andover Street by detective Ralph Scopa. She was charged with receiving stolen property and credit card fraud around 3 p.m.

Doreen Masse, 43, 25 Renee Drive, Wakefield, will be summonsed by Patrolman Mark Saia for driving without a license following an accident on Sylvan Street about 3:30 p.m.

A resident at Woodbridge Assisted Living reported the theft of a gold watch, gold wedding band, gold chain and gold charm around 4 p.m.

Friday

Police responded to a report of a pedestrian accident on Central Street by Goldberg Road at 4:33 p.m. that left the victim with possible head injuries. Police issued a citation to the driver of the 1996 Nissan Sentra, Jumarlin Genao, 17, of 12 Pope St., Salem, with failure to stop for a pedestrian. The victim was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital by Atlantic Ambulance.

Henrique S. Brostel, 43, of 50 Market St., Ipswich, was arrested at 5:43 p.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1.

Police responded to the Cabaret Lounge at 10:28 p.m. after the staff reported unwanted guests: the Hells Angels. There was only one person left of the group when police arrived. Police asked the Hells Angel member, who was sitting at the bar, to leave. The patron left without incident.

Saturday

Carlos Gomez, 36, of 49 Henry St., Apt. 31, Lynn, was arrested at 1:13 a.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed, following a motor vehicle stop on Summit Street.

Lyle Harrod, 22, of 3016 16th St., NW, Washington, D.C., was arrested at 2:06 a.m. and charged with drunken driving and a passing violation, following a motor vehicle stop on Margin Street and Dobbs Road.

Police received a call at 9:30 a.m. from a woman at her doctor's office to report two fish in the doctor's pond outside his office were sick. Police referred the woman to MassWildlife.

Tanaia Chamberlain, 34, of 701 Sandy Bay Estate, Rockport, was arrested at 3:37 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at Sears.

William B. Moran Jr., 38, of 307 Lafayette St., Apt. 307, Salem, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. and charged with threatening to commit a crime on Paleologos Street.

Police received a report at 4:41 p.m. of a car break-in at the Cheesecake Factory parking lot.

Police received a report at 5 p.m. of a car break-in at Spring Hill Suites on Route 1. The victim said his GPS was stolen.

Sunday

William R. Silabel, 20, of 265 Willis Ave., Apt. 1, Medford, was arrested at 12:55 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault, following a report of a disturbance at Acropolis Bar on Walnut Street.

Zoraida Villar, 23, of 286 Revere St., Apt. 2R, Revere, was arrested, following a report at 2:43 a.m. of a robbery. A Spring Street resident reported to police that she was jumped and robbed outside her house. The victim said the person fled in a black car and she had the license plate number. Police later arrested Villar on a warrant and charged him with larceny (more than $250) and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Eva Bettencourt, 36, of 19 Washington St., Apt. 2, Peabody, was arrested at 3:07 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace and threatening to commit a crime, following a report of threats from a tenant.

Leonard Noci, 28, of 23 Mason St., Salem, was arrested at 12:43 p.m. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, following a report of a fight between two customers at Lynn-field Street Shell.

Salem

Friday

A Bridge Street resident called police after someone came banging at his door around 3 a.m. The man was "yelling." The resident apparently could not identify the person except to say he saw "a shadow leave in the direction of Beverly."

"Who steals my purse steals trash," according to Shakespeare. But a Rainbow Terrace mother and son reported to police that someone stole their citizenship papers — a very different story. The mother "stated she believes it may have been someone they had in the apartment," according to Patrolman Joseph Sierra. "She has no idea how long (the papers) have been missing."

A woman reported around 2 p.m. she'd been threatened by a resident of the Salem Mission who told her to "watch her back" and added that "she may not be around," according to the police report. The Mission knows of the threat and the woman was told to complain at Salem District Court.

Dimas A. Melendez-Guevara, 23, 48 Burrill St., Lynn and Valerio Mendez, 22, 50 Grove St., Lynn were both arrested for driving without a license after they had the bad luck to run into each other on Loring Avenue near Canal Street shortly before 5 p.m. Mendez will have the charge of leaving the scene of an accident after property damage added to his charges because he declined to stick around following the mishap. On the other hand, Mendez was good enough to drive past Patrolman Ryan Davis as he dealt with Melendez-Guevara, resulting in the double arrests. Melendez-Guevara complained that Mendez came up and bumped him from behind as he waited for the light, a word that also describes the property damage.

Police responded to 13 Hancock St., at 11:26 p.m. to shut down an underage drinking party.

Saturday

A man drove off Derby Wharf at 1:48 a.m. after trying to head home after a night at the bars. The driver told police he was not familiar with the area and became lost. The driver told police he went inside the wharf to turn around, but did not see there was a drop-off. The man passed all field sobriety tests given to him. The driver and his passenger suffered minor injuries but didn't want to be taken to the hospital.

A High Street resident reported to police at 4:20 a.m. that his apartment was broken into and a pair of sneakers and a video game console were stolen.

Todd A. Cheney, 37, of 18 Upham St., Salem, was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with attempted murder and domestic assault and battery after an earlier domestic incident. The victim reported to police at 1:46 p.m. that she woke up from her sleep and her boyfriend was yelling and screaming at her. He grabbed her wrists and then her throat, the police report states.

Lawrence J. Michaels, 50, of 63 Lawrence St., Salem, was arrested at 3:34 a.m. and charged with malicious destruction of property (more than $250), following a report of a suspicious person in the backyard of a Friendship Lane home.

Robert A. Bouffard Jr., 59, of 62 Derby St., Salem, was arrested at 7:19 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace at his residence.

Danvers

Zwelky Darrell-Martinez, 19, of 27 Woodbine St., Brooklyn, was arrested at 6:27 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at Kohl's.

Saturday

Police received a report at 12:25 p.m. of a car break-in at Liberty Tree Mall.

Sunday

Ernande Ribeiro, 23, of 119 Tremont St., Peabody, was arrested at 1:50 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at Walmart.

Marblehead

Wednesday

A hypodermic needle was found on Roundhouse Road around 1:30 p.m.

An Ocean Avenue woman complained about a man (or kids) banging at her door about 9:30 p.m. She told the police it wasn't the first time it happened and that there may have been more than one person.

At roughly 10 p.m. a State Street woman complained of "a huge crowd that is screaming and also drinking in the street."

Someone threw an egg at a police cruiser around 10:30 on Central Street. But they didn't get away with it. The culprit was collared at Chestnut Street, according to the police report, which adds, "Kids and parent spoken to."

Friday

Austin J. Coen, 17, of 5 Westledge Road, Marblehead, was arrested at 11 p.m. and charged with drunken driving and speeding, following a motor vehicle stop on Westledge Road.

Danvers

Friday

Daniel R. Young, 26, 9 Preston St., Lynn, and Christopher L. Miles, 27, 210 Mountain Ave., Revere, were arrested for breaking and entering in the daytime after Patrolman Eric Clarizia caught them allegedly burglarizing cars at the Strike One on Route 1 by. They are also charged with causing malicious damage and larceny from a motor vehicle.

Young was also wanted on a warrant for receiving stolen property, credit card fraud and identity theft in Topsfield.

Topsfield

Sunday

Jayson Larochelle, 37, of 200 Colonial Drive, Ipswich, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. and charged with drunken driving, following a report of a hit-and-run crash on Topsfield Street.

Hamilton

Saturday

Marc Pages, 24, of 30 Barr St., Salem, was arrested at 12:58 p.m. on Bay Road and charged with driving with a suspended license, an expired inspection sticker and on a default warrant out of Salem District Court for failure to appear.
