A set of missing golf clubs in a black Titleist bag was recovered at 4:49 p.m. from a basement of a house on River Street.
A truck driver called police at 5:19 p.m. to report that he had parked his semi-rig at a Route 128 rest stop and discovered it was gone when he returned. The state police had towed it to a lot in Revere, police said.
An officer on patrol reported that a 1997 white GMC pickup with an expired registration had been parked at the Beverly Farms train station since Sept. 29. Police had checked the license 13 times on the truck, which had a broken driver's side rear window, slashed seats and the smell of urine inside. A police supervisor gave permission to tow the vehicle.
Barry Allendorph, 40, of 43 Bow St. and Lisa Marie Nicolosi, 38, of 43 Bow St. were arrested on separate charges of domestic assault and battery around 10:45 p.m. at that address.

Dana Foley, 36, of 12 Water St. was arrested at that address at 10:27 p.m. on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
Friday
John Lefave, 51, of 12 Crowninshield St., Peabody, was arrested at 7:01 a.m. on Route 1 on charges of driving with a revoked license and speeding.
Rosamond Caisse, 29, of 2 McDewell Ave. was arrested at 1:56 p.m. at Walmart, 55 Brooksby Village Drive, on charges of shoplifting merchandise valued at more than $100 and possession of an illegal drug.

Police received a report at 1:12 p.m. of children vandalizing the historic grandstand at Seaside Park. Three boys were throwing rocks off the back of the grandstand and appeared to have broken several windows, according to a police report. One of the boy's fathers came to the scene and said he will contact the Park Department and pay for the damage.
The owner of the French + Italian boutique, 129 Washington St., reported at 2:33 p.m. that a white female about 5-foot-9 with red/brown hair came into the shop and stole a skirt. The owner said it was the first time she had seen the woman in the store.

A Brown Street resident called at 6:34 a.m. to report hearing a loud noise like blasting or a cannon.

A resident called police at 11:11 p.m. to report a group of males fighting on Tracey Street. A witness said he saw a carload of youths flee down Tracey Street and another group run down Dennis Street. Police spoke to a 11-year-old boy who appeared to have been involved in the fight, but he did not want to pursue charges and told police he did not know who he was fighting.
Friday
Police received a report at 12:05 a.m. of a car hitting a pole in front of 39 Washington St. Stephen Faverman, 26, of 7 Rock Ave., Swampscott, was taken to Salem Hospital, where he was treated and released. He will be summonsed to court on a charge of driving after his license was revoked. The post office will be contacted about two mailboxes that were damaged.
Ryan Moreno, 20, of 16 Lynn St., was arrested at 6:52 a.m. on Lynn Street on charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to stop for a pedestrian at a crosswalk.
A Crane Brook Way resident called police at 2:27 p.m. to report that she had received several phone calls from an out-of-state number seeking medical help for a woman who may have broken her foot in North Providence, R.I. Peabody police called North Providence and spoke to police there who checked out the report and called back to say that the injured woman had been taken to the hospital.
The principal of Welch School called police at 2:33 p.m. to report that school officials noticed a disoriented fox by the main entrance just as they were getting ready to release children for the day. By the time police arrived, the fox had left the area and walked over toward a golf course.

A Geneva Street resident called police at 5:18 p.m. to report that she heard a noise at her back window just before midnight Tuesday and, when she checked it out, saw a white male in black clothing trying to gain entrance to the house. She told police she yelled at the young man and he fled toward Canal Street.
Jose Luis Vega, 28, of 41 Salem St. was arrested at 8:49 p.m. at the corner of Lafayette and Palmer streets on charges of illegal possession of morphine pills, possession with intent to distribute and intent to distribute in a school zone. Police said they spotted Vega on a bike coming from a high-crime area on Washington Street and darting out between two parked cars. They stopped him to conduct a "threshold inquiry" and said he gave two different stories about where he got the bike. The officers said they had arrested Vega a year earlier on a knife ordinance violation. They said they patted him down because his story had changed and because he was known to carry weapons. Police said they found $309 in one pocket, a cigarette package containing the pills and two cell phones.

Steven McDougall, 25, of 10 Amero Court, Gloucester, was stopped at 1:15 a.m. driving the wrong way down Palmer Street, a one-way road. He was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and a one-way street violation. The car's owner was cited for allowing an improper person to drive the car.
Daniel Taylor, 23, of 2 Bayview Terrace, Danvers, was arrested at 12:48 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue on a charge of driving a moped with a suspended license and for an outstanding default warrant.
A man who parked in the Museum Place Mall Garage on Friday reported that his car was vandalized sometime between parking there at 10:30 a.m. and returning at 5:20 p.m. He said his passenger side window was smashed and his $300 iPhone was gone. The iPhone had been left in plain view on the center console, police said. He was advised to contact his cell phone provider and report the theft.
Police went to the Hawthorne Hotel at 6 p.m. last night on a report of a large man in a red suit standing on the hotel roof and waving. Police said the man climbed down on a Fire Department ladder as a large crowd watched. When the man reached the ground and identified himself as Santa Claus, police welcomed him to Salem and dropped all charges.
