Peabody

Friday

Kaitlyn M. McCormick, 18, of 7 Webb St., Apt. 1, Salem, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at Macy's.

Mary C. Allen, 20, of 20 Webb St., Apt. 1, Danvers, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery at an apartment at 111R Main St.

Saturday

Paul A. Romanski, 36, of 18 Peabody Square, Apt. 223, Peabody, was arrested at 1:55 a.m. and charged with drunken driving and negligent driving following an attempted motor vehicle stop on Hardy Street. Police said Romanski fled from police and later crashed into a fence on Walnut Street.

Police received a report of a car break-in at 7-Eleven on Route 1 and a money bag containing thousands of dollars was stolen.

JBZ Industries reported to police at 9:50 a.m. that numerous items, including scrap metal, were stolen from their Farm Avenue location between 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.

Richard Beaulieu, 49, of 68 Dane St., Apt. 14, Beverly, was arrested at 11:56 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery, aggravated domestic assault and battery, and violating a restraining order at Veterans Memorial Drive.

Claudia E. Carredano, 39, and Jessenia Carredano, 18, both of 20 Ethel Ave., Peabody, were arrested at 1:30 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at J.C. Penney.

Sunday

Kristopher M. Kratman, 20, of 10 Overlook Trail, Peabody, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. and charged with drunken driving, possession of marijuana, and a marked lane violation following a motor vehicle stop on Lowell Street.

Salem

Friday

Police received a report at 4:40 p.m. from a Leach Street resident that he was in his kitchen at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday when a man opened a window in his living room and reached in with his arm to try and take a laptop computer. The culprit ran away when the resident walked into the living room. The resident was at a loss to explain why he did not call the police earlier.

Police received a report at 5:08 p.m. that packages delivered to a Cherry Street home were stolen.

Police received a report at 11:18 p.m. that a 32-inch flat-screen television was stolen from a Cushing Street home.

Joseph A. Covel, 27, of 27 Symonds St., Salem, was arrested at 1:10 p.m. and charged with aggravated domestic assault and battery following a report of a domestic disturbance at his residence.

Christina M. Fernandes, 27, of 27 Davids St., Brockton, was arrested at 6:16 p.m. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (a knife) following a report of an assault at 1000 Loring Ave. The victim said Fernandes chased her with a knife out of the lobby of the apartment building and onto the rear parking lot over an argument involving $40.

A firefighter on a detail at the Hawthorne Hotel for a private function asked for police at 8 p.m. after two unruly patrons refused to leave. The tavern inside the hotel was closed to the public because of the private function. Police responded and removed the two from the property.

Sunday

Police received a report at 8 a.m. of an 8-foot plow stolen from Canal Street sometime between 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Topsfield

Saturday

Michael Murphy, 57, of 377 Boston St., Topsfield, was arrested at his home at 6:45 p.m. and charged with domestic assault.

Danvers

Friday

Police reported at 5:23 p.m. that three men in their 20s stole a 32-inch or 37-inch Samsung television from Best Buy. The men left in a 1998 Honda Accord out of Wakefield. One of the men had red hair and a beard.

Saturday

Nicholas Cutter, 19, of 27 Carolyn Drive, Danvers, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. and charged with drunken driving following a motor vehicle stop on Purchase Street.

Police took a report at 1:44 a.m. of a drunk person at Beverly Hospital at Danvers on Maple Street.

Suli Chen, 33, of 25 Channing St., Quincy, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. and charged with shoplifting and receiving stolen property more than $250 following a report of a shoplifter at Kohl's.

Marblehead

Friday

Police received a report at 12:14 p.m. of a car break-in on Whittier Road.

A woman drove through a crosswalk as a crossing guard was assisting a child across Pleasant Street near the Mohawk Road intersection. Police received a report at 3 p.m. that the driver yelled at the crossing guard for not having her sign up, which she said gave her the right to keep driving.

Police received a report at 6 p.m. of a car break-in at the Jewish Community Center on Gallison Avenue. Police said the car was unlocked and a purse was taken.

Saturday

Police received a call from a Washington Street resident asking why there was no area "coned off" for the horse-drawn carriage in front of the Lee Mansion. Moments later, police received a call complaining about the carriage driver, who was blocking traffic and didn't know how to wave traffic around the carriage, according to the caller.

Beverly

Friday

David P. Noonan Jr., 32, of 38 Valley Road, Gloucester, was arrested at 7:27 p.m. and charged with assault and threatening to commit a crime (murder) following a report of a fight over child support on Sohier Road.

Davi O. Lima, 39, of 260 Rantoul St., Beverly, was arrested at 8:44 p.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed and a marked lane violation following a motor vehicle stop on Bridge Street.

Saturday

Police responded to the Fibber McGee bar and restaurant on Cabot Street at 12:44 a.m. after a patron refused to pay an $80 tab and was causing a disturbance.

Hector Ferrer, 23, of 18 Rantoul St., Beverly, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery, witness intimidation and malicious destruction of property following a report of a domestic dispute at his residence.

Police received a report at 11:20 a.m. of a man walking around in his underwear on Cabot Street by Charnock Street.

Steven M. Pearson, 23, of 76 Trask St., Beverly, was arrested at 6:50 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license, marked lane violation and speeding following a motor vehicle stop on Cabot Street by Trask Street.

Police received a report at 9:17 a.m. of a car vandalized on Folger Avenue.

Wenham

Friday

Andrew Page, 39, of 16 Regwill Ave., Wenham, was arrested at 9:55 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and witness intimidation following a domestic dispute at his residence.
