Public invited to mayor's inaugural ceremonies

SALEM — Mayor Kim Driscoll will take the oath of office for her second four-year term at inaugural ceremonies Monday, Jan. 4, at Old Town Hall.

The public is invited to the event, which begins at 10 a.m.

The 11 City Council members and the six members of the Salem School Committee will also be sworn into office.

The Salem Police and Fire Departments will provide honor guards and color guards for the ceremony, and the Salem High School Chamber Choir will perform. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
