A Joy Road resident pointed the finger of suspicion at a former boyfriend's son after reporting $3,000 in jewelry missing at 5:54 p.m.

Monday

Lorena Martinez, 40, of 243 Fairmont St., Saugus, was arrested at 1:33 p.m. by Officer Javier Sanchez on a charge of shoplifting over $100 at the Northshore Mall Macy's.

Beverly

Friday

Vandalism to a car was reported on Dodge Street at 4:23 p.m.

Police were called at 6:08 p.m. to investigate a house break at Beckford Street.

Randi McKay, 47, of 327 Washington St., Gloucester, was arrested at 6:31 p.m. on Northridge Road by Patrolmen John McCarthy and Michael Henebury on charges of domestic assault and battery and destruction of property.

Saturday

Police investigated a possible violation of a restraining order at 9:13 a.m. on Eastern Avenue.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle on Charnock Street, at 10:13 a.m.

It was a gun, but only an airsoft gun, which shoots plastic pellets and is considered a toy, according to police. Yet, it was allegedly enough to threaten and rob one youth at Colgate Park of $60. Witnesses say a bystander tackled the culprit, who then drove off at a high rate of speed in a green Ford Explorer. The description of the thief was "vague" in the incident logged at 12:42 p.m.

Rob Halloran, 51, of 14 Atlantic St., Gloucester, was arrested at 2:32 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license.

Police note "items stolen" following a 6:49 p.m. report of a car broken into on Jackson Street.

Sunday

A resident on Ober Street complained at 11:28 a.m. about an egg attack on the house — the third since October.

Police were called to a report of a past break-in on Cabot Street, according to the log at 5:10 p.m.

Forced entry on Budleigh Avenue was investigated at 7:32 p.m.

Patricia A. Brook, 45, of 98 Corning St., Beverly, was arrested at 9:32 p.m. on Cabot Street by officers Antonio Diruzza and Darlene Prinz on charges of drunken driving and failing to use care. Police responded to an initial report of someone driving into a pole, a bike and a car.

Possible forced entry drew police to an address on Red Rock Lane at 1:45 p.m.

Danvers

An accident with personal injury was reported on Barbara Road, according to a 10:30 p.m. log entry.

Sasha Bennett, 32, of Lynn was arrested at 1:03 p.m. at the Brooksby Village Drive Walmart by Officer Robert Santo on a charge of shoplifting over $100.

Deshea St. Jacques, 28, of 78 Lowell St., Peabody, was arrested at the Brooksby Village Drive Walmart by Officer Robert Santo on a charge of shoplifting and not having her license with her.

A green Saturn on Ocean Avenue was covered in purple lotion and toilet paper, and a mirror was broken, according to a 10:14 p.m. log entry.

Monday

A warrant went out for a New Jersey man after he allegedly punched the mother of his child. Salem police interviewed the victim in her Highland Avenue apartment at 12:24 a.m. The accused allegedly first hit the victim in the cheek out of jealousy over what he feared was her interest in another man. She "had her cellphone in her hand," according to the log, "and told him to stop. She told him if he hit her again, she would call 911." He then allegedly hit her in the mouth. She called 911, then took her daughter and retreated to her apartment.

Fiorenzo Nico Lecce, 28, of 317 Paradise Road, Swampscott, was arrested at 3:17 a.m. at Hawthorne Boulevard and Charter Street by Patrolmen Daniel Tucker and Derek White on charges of driving with a suspended license and having defective equipment. A bad brake light and license plate light first attracted attention, according to police.

Michael Joseph McCausland, 33, of 56 Margin St., Salem, was arrested at 9:32 a.m. at the Lafayette Hotel by Patrolmen Victor Ruiz and Rafael Gonzalez on a charge of trespassing. Police say McCausland was also arrested earlier this month for trespassing at the same hotel. The manager told officers "he is continuously finding McCausland hiding in common bathrooms and stairwells," according to the log.

Partying on Ocean Avenue did not end well for a woman who found her 6-year-old's medication had gone missing. "She contacted the guests who were present, and they all denied any knowledge of the medication's whereabouts," according to the log at 12:51 p.m.

Marblehead

Saturday

John S. Hall, 36, of 5 Sunset Road, Salem, was arrested at 1:31 p.m. at Lafayette and Birch streets by officers Adam Mastrangelo and Dennis Defelice on charges of driving with a revoked license, possessing a Class A drug and having a defective windshield.

Sunday

Two cars on Waterside Road were reported "entered overnight," according to the log at 9:45 a.m. "Both have had papers tossed about inside."

Alycia Falvey, 20, of Elm Street, Marblehead, was arrested behind Village School by officers Eric Osattin, Daniel Katz and Dean Peralta on charges of drunken dri ving, leaving the scene of an accident, driving negligently, and assault and battery on a police officer. Officers had responded to a report that a pole had been struck on Village Street.
