Police investigated a report of a break-in on Giles Avenue at 3:44 p.m.

Paul Henry, 47, 424 Essex St., Gloucester, was arrested at 5:05 p.m. at Tozer and Hellard roads on charges of driving with a revoked license and driving an unregistered vehicle. Responding were Patrolmen Michael Boccuzzi, Edward Hathon and Michael Backstrom.

A break-in on Home Street was investigated at 6:01 p.m.

Imani Paris Balboni, 17, 32 Brimbal Ave., Beverly, was arrested at 6:59 p.m. at her address by Patrolmen Erik Abrahamson and John McCarthy on charges of assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled and witness intimidation. Police had earlier taken a call regarding a "girl assaulting grandmother," according to the log.

Alvaro N. Nunes, 57, 24 Paine Ave., Beverly was arrested at 8:38 p.m. at the home address by Patrolmen Michael Buccuzzi and David Grimes on a charge of domestic assault and battery. The original call concerned a "boyfriend/girlfriend domestic," according to the log.

Saturday

Sara J. Tarr, 44, 60 Rantoul St., Beverly, was arrested at 1:58 p.m. on Rantoul Street by Patrolwoman Darlene Prinz on a charge of possessing a class A drug. A report of a "woman lying on floor," according to the log, drew police initially.

A truck was reported as damaged by vandals on Margin Street, according to a 5:08 p.m. log entry.

A car was reported to be broken into on Essex Street at 7:46 p.m.

Daniel S. Donahue, 26, 28 Bartlett St., Beverly was arrested at 10:37 p.m. at his address by Patrolmen Antonio Diruzza and Eric Lynch on a charge of assault and battery. Police had taken a report of a "possible domestic," according to the log.

Police investigated the break-in of a vehicle on Tozer Road at 11:44 a.m.

Friday

Electronics can create problems for criminals, too. Police responded at 7:45 p.m. to a report of a car's rear window smashed and an iPad taken. "iPad can be tracked," according to the log. "Item is currently in the Byfield area. Officer will follow up as needed."

Saturday

Nancy E. Carson, 54, 6 Goodridge St., Peabody was arrested at 1:20 a.m. on Main Street by officer Sean Dowd on charges of drunken driving and failure to take care. The arrest followed a minor accident.

Vandalism to a vehicle was reported at the Charles Motel on Mill Street at 12:48 p.m.

Police responded to a "disturbance" at the Route 1 Dunkin' Donuts where a couple reported at 1:40 p.m. that they were kicked out of a hotel. "Officers offered them many forms of assistance; the two have refused all help from the police," according to the log. They left on foot and would be noticed by police multiple times during the day.

Jessey Karina Sandoval-Aldana, 30, 455 Western Ave., Lynn, was arrested at 3:16 p.m. on Centennial Drive by officer Alan Graglia on charges of driving without a license, failing to yield and giving a false name.

Sunday

Stephen R. Firsone, 30, 64 Foster St., Peabody was arrested at 1:28 a.m. on Route 1 by Sgt. Vincent Patermo on charges of drunk driving and marked lane violations.

A Lynn Street woman threatened to harm her husband with a knife, according to the log at 10:22 p.m. Neighbors heard the argument and "did not like the language being used," according to the log. The husband walked away.

Monday

Patrick Murphy, 18, 747 Lowell St., Peabody was arrested at 12:23 a.m. on Leblanc Drive by officer Michael Nary on charges of drunken driving. Police responded to a report that a vehicle had hit a tree.

A man swiped products from the Main Street Tedeschi Food Shop and then ran toward Caller Street, according to a 9:37 a.m. log entry.

Govanny Pena-Vittini, 42, 50 Trinity Ave., Lynn, was arrested 1:59 p.m. on Main Street by officer Mark Saia on charges of driving with a suspended license, revoked registration, no insurance and fake plates.

Medications, a computer and an iPod worth more than $1,000 in total went missing from an apartment at 1000 Loring Ave. Police found no sign of forced entry, but the resident believes that between Friday and Saturday "someone entered her apartment," according to the log at 4:12 p.m.

No ambulance was summoned after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at Lafayette and Dodge streets, according to the log at 10:13 p.m. Wearing a hood, the walker did not see the car coming. He "rolled off the driver's side fender and fell to the ground," according to the log.

Monday

A woman on Beckett Street told police at 7:01 a.m. that she's missing a $3,000 diamond and gold bracelet. She told police "she dropped it on the floor last Thursday," according to the log, "and put it into the drawer. She told a woman who cleans her home," (whose name she says she does not know) "that she put it in there and the next day she discovered that it was missing."

A woman on Chase Street told police that a dispute with her husband at 8:58 a.m. was verbal. She added that "she was upset because she just found out her husband .... has been cheating on her," according to the log. He said his mother was coming to pick him up so he could get away for a while. Police advised them to contact officers if the dispute becomes physical.

Holly Anne Dauwer, 37, 2 Chase St., Salem, was arrested at 11:14 a.m. at her address on charges of domestic assault and battery and intimidation of a witness. Responding were Patrolmen Ryan Arundel and Jason Gross and Sgt. Marc Berube.

Marc W. Pages III, 26, 30 Barr St., Salem, was arrested at 11:56 a.m. at School and Buffum streets by Patrolman DeeJay Gagnon on charges of driving after his license was suspended, not getting his vehicle inspected and on four outstanding warrants, from Lynn, Salem, Beverly and Hamilton.
