Beverly

Wednesday

  • Police received a report of a man looking in cars at the Cummings Center, 181 Elliott St., at 4:07 p.m. Police were unable to locate anyone suspicious.
  • Police took a report of a BB shot into a vehicle in the vicinity of 502 Cabot St. at 5:35 p.m.
  • Police took a report at 7:14 a.m. of a suspicious powder in a baggie in the vicinity of 27 Fayette St. An officer recovered the substance.

Danvers

Wednesday

  • Caylen Hanover, 27, of 57 Ocean Ave., Salem, was arrested on a charge of operating motor vehicle with a suspended license after being pulled over on Endicott Street at 6:20 p.m.

Peabody

Wednesday

  • A fire in a trash barrel at Pierpont Part was reported at 9:14 p.m. The fire was put out and officers requested the Department of Public Works be notified to clean up the debris.
  • Police responded to the Northshore Mall at 11:07 p.m. to assist with mall security with an “intoxicated female attempting to leave in a motor vehicle.” An officer gave the woman a ride to Motel 6 in Danvers, according to the log.

Thursday

  • Assorted Christmas decorations were reported stolen sometime overnight at 6:53 a.m. at 24 Oakland St.
  • An assistant manager at Jiffy Lube on Andover Street reported to police at 7:22 a.m. that a garage door was knocked in and a small safe was taken with a tablet computer inside.
  • Gloria Jimenez, 36, of 16 Crowninshield St., Peabody, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and larceny under $250, according to a 9:51 p.m. log item.
  • Nicole M. Paquette, 35, of 48 Day Ave., Hamilton, was arrested at 10:54 p.m. on charges of disorderly conduct and shoplifting by asportation, second offense, from Macy’s at the Northshore Mall. Paquette was “trespassed from the mall for five years,” according to the police item.

Friday

  • Scanner reports say police and fire officials were called to Route 114 in the area of the Container Store for a report of a car flipped over at 5:44 p.m.
