Solar meetings to be held in Salem, Swampscott

SALEM — Two informational meetings have been scheduled for residents of Salem and Swampscott interested in taking part in Solarize Massachusetts, a state program that offers incentives to residents and businesses that install solar panels.

Solar 101, an introduction to the program, will be held Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m. at Swampscott High School, 200 Essex St.

A follow-up meeting with the installer selected by the two communities will be held Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Salem Five community room on the Essex Street pedestrian mall in Salem.
