Police went to the Salem Hospital parking lot at 9:14 p.m. on a report of a stolen catalytic converter. A hospital employee said she went to work at 7 a.m. and when she came out to start her car at the end of work noticed the exhaust was very loud and then discovered she was missing a catalytic converter. Police looked under the car and said it appeared as though the catalytic converter had been “cut off.” Hospital security said they have had no other reports of similar incidents.

Police went to an apartment at 282 Washington St. at 10:58 p.m. on a report of a man kicking in a door. Police said a court summons will be issued for the man.


Police went to Rainbow Terrace at 12:16 a.m. on a report of a suspicious white male wearing a black jacket and pajama pants going door to door. Police found an intoxicated man fitting that description and placed him in protective custody.



Conor Kelly, 20, of 11 Laurine Road, Danvers, was arrested at 2:05 p.m. at Endicott and Water streets on a charge of driving with a suspended license and on an outstanding warrant.


A 24-year-old Danvers man was taken into protective custody for intoxication at 1:39 a.m. on High Street.
