MLK vigil in Salem tonight

SALEM — A vigil in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King will be held tonight.

The informal gathering will take place at 6 p.m. at the “No Place for Hate” rock at the corner of Front and Washington Streets near the Adriatic restaurant.

Several local religious leaders are expected to speak.

Persons attending are encouraged to bring candles, flowers and a donation for the Salem Food Pantry.
