Police: Delivery man is robbed of food

SALEM — A Jade House restaurant delivery man was robbed at gunpoint around 9:42 Monday night in the area of Perkins Street, police said.

According to police, the man was accosted and punched in the face by three suspects, who took the bag of food he was delivering and fled the scene.

The victim could not give a clear description of the suspects because his glasses were knocked off when he was punched, he said.

Police have yet to identify the suspects, and the case is still under investigation.
