BEVERLY — A Thanksgiving dinner at the historic Balch House is the grand prize in the Beverly Historical Society’s annual raffle.

The fireside dinner for six will take place on Thursday, Nov. 15, at the 17th-century Balch House, one of the country’s oldest preserved homes.

There are also nine other prizes donated by Beverly merchants with values ranging from $160 to $225, including gift certificates to several Beverly restaurants.

Raffle tickets cost $9 each or three for $25. They must be purchased by 4 p.m. on Oct. 29. The drawing is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m. in front of the Historical Society’s Cabot House during Beverly’s downtown trick-or-treat.

Proceeds support the historic sites and programs of the Beverly Historical Society.

Tickets can be purchased from the Beverly Historical Society by calling 978-922-1186 or emailing info@beverlyhistory.org. Tickets are also available at Casa de Moda, 272 Cabot St.
