A Broughton Road woman reported at 1:14 p.m. that somebody had put a dead mouse under her door.

A Vine Street man reported at 4 p.m. that somebody had taken his handicapped placard from his motor vehicle.
Police received a 4:01 p.m. report from a Cushing Road man who said somebody had entered his garage and “slashed a tetherball.” Police wrote: “Nothing else disturbed or taken. He has spoken to neighbors and reports nothing else unusual and has no known enemies.”
A Green Street man reported at 6:21 p.m. that one of his firearms had been stolen.
Two tires on a vehicle at 19 Thorndike St. were reported slashed at 3:51 p.m.
Police received an 8:50 p.m. report that a dark-colored hatchback had pulled away from a gas station at 295 Cabot St. without paying for $36.43 in gas.
Police responded to a 5:02 p.m. report of “a few male parties urinating outdoors” on Prospect Street. An officer subsequently reported that a man from Bedford, N.H., will be summonsed for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
An Avalon Drive woman reported at 8:42 p.m. that she had let her ex borrow her car “and now he will not return it.” Police will summons the man on a charge of larceny of a motor vehicle.
Police received a 9:04 p.m. report of a large group “causing a scene” in the area of Sewall Street and Pierpont Park. An officer dispersed the group.
Police will summons a Lynnfield man on a charge of annoying phone calls after an Amazing Superstore employee reported numerous calls from a man named “Artie.”
Police received a 1:06 a.m. report that two women got out of a cab near 2 Calumet St. and “climbed into the window of a house.” Police wrote: “Officer reports the female party worked out a deal with the cab driver to pay him tomorrow.”
