PEABODY — Traffic on Route 128 in Peabody was stalled for about an hour yesterday morning after a minor, five-car crash near the Lowell Street exit.

A 17-year-old Peabody boy and a 47-year-old Beverly man were two of the five drivers involved in the crash, which occurred at 7:36 a.m. No one was seriously injured. One of the drivers, a 60-year-old Saugus man, told police he had a potential injury but refused medical treatment.

State police would not say what caused the accident and would not release the names of the drivers involved.
