An officer from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department saw two women begin to fight on Lafayette St. at 10:47 p.m. and arrested them both. Kiana Martin, 17, of 231 Lafayette St., Salem, and Xiomara Mendez, 18, of 52 Commercial St., Lynn, were each arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

A “fight with knives” at 16 Mason St. was reported at 10:58 p.m. Police were unable to locate the combatants.

After an 11 p.m. report of a fight at 211 Washington St., police arrested Adolfo Hernandez, 21, of 12 First St., Salem, on a charge of disorderly conduct.
