Monday

A Winthrop Street woman reported at 3:39 p.m. that both of her license plates had been stolen.

Police received a 6:32 p.m. report that a GPS and a screw gun were taken during a vehicle break-in at 40 Mount Vernon St.

Police spoke to employees and a manager of the Outback Steakhouse at 300 Andover St. after a 9:37 p.m. report that another employee there had been assaulted while at work. “Apparently, everybody is sticking up for the suspect involved,” police wrote.

Tuesday

A 15-year-old student at Peabody High School was arrested on charges of disturbing a school assembly, assault and battery, and threatening to commit a crime, according to a 7:20 a.m. log item.

Police received an 8:27 p.m.. report of a suspicious man on a porch at 23 Park St. and determined that a woman was giving her nephew a haircut. The woman was advised “just to keep the noise down,” according to the log.

A Boston Street resident told police at 9:50 p.m. that he had returned home from work to find his door kicked in and his drawers rummaged through, although he hadn’t noticed anything missing.

At 10:30 p.m., a campus police officer at Salem State University’s Bowditch Hall dormitory arrested Olivia Spalding, 19, of 5 Bricher St., Newburyport, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Tuesday

A midnight report of a domestic dispute at 8 Tremont St. resulted in the arrest of Danielle Mello, 23, of the same address, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Officers in the Special Response Unit encountered in the parking lot of Salem Laundry at 1 Lafayette St. a man with two outstanding warrants, according to a 12:58 p.m. log item. Alexander Jiminian, 19, of 7 Ward St., Salem, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, in addition to the warrants.
