Salem police probe drive-by shooting

SALEM — Police were investigating a report of a drive-by shooting on Clark Avenue shortly after 9:45 last night.

No injuries were reported.

Shots were fired from a vehicle into a house, breaking windows, according to radio reports and an interview with Lt. Scott Englehardt.

Police were unable to provide any description of the involved vehicle, which was last seen heading toward Barnes Avenue.

A Salem officer contacted Lynn police due to the proximity of the incident to that city.
