A woman was taken into protective custody after a 2:35 p.m. report that she was sitting on the sidewalk at 150 Lafayette St. Police wrote that the woman was “swaying side to side” and admitted to drinking “about a pint of vodka.”

Police received a 3:29 p.m. report that a vehicle had been stolen from 35 Congress St., but it was later located on Peabody Street. “Not stolen,” police wrote.

A Mount Vernon Street woman reported at 3:46 p.m. that her $250 baby stroller had been stolen from her front porch.



Police received a 3:42 a.m. report that a man was wandering the halls of the Motel 6 on Newbury Street, but police were unable to locate anybody suspicious.

A 7:52 a.m. report of a “motorcycle down” brought police to Maple and Nichols streets, but there were no injuries during the accident, according to the log.
