Police received a 7:50 a.m. report that a black SUV in a one-hour parking zone on Hewitt Street “appears to have not moved in weeks.”

An Evans Road man reported at 7:53 a.m. that his wife had “cut him in the back with a coffee cup this morning when he went in the house.” Police wrote: “She turned around and hit him, possibly by accident, but [he] would like to see an officer.”


An officer gave a motorist in a 2012 Dodge Challenger on Humphrey Street a verbal warning for a red light violation at 5:44 a.m.



Police received a 6:41 a.m. report that somebody had been struck by a trash truck at 6 Will Sawyer St., but an officer determined that the person had actually fallen “trying to get out of way of trash truck.” No injuries were reported.

A Shore Drive caller reported at 3:17 p.m. that her mom had a “bump” over her eye.

A Russell Street woman reported at 4:55 p.m. that her daughter had been approached by a suspicious man on a bicycle, but police later determined it was a “misunderstanding.”

Police received a 5:35 p.m. report that golf balls were “flying over” the area of 83 Lynn St. and striking vehicles. An officer reported later that a boy who lived nearby had apologized.

A Lowell Street caller reported at 7:17 p.m. that a group of six 12-year-olds were “running into the road and laying down on the street.” Police wrote: “She saw them do this several times.” An officer was unable to locate them.

An Eileen Road woman reported at 7:20 p.m. that her husband was “talking to her very loudly and she is scared of him.” Police determined the two had been engaged in a verbal dispute and the man was leaving for the night.
