Police received a report at 8:17 p.m. of a “lit bag of dog doo-doo” left on a porch on Meeting Place Circle. Police responded and did not find anything.
A woman on Federal Street caused a disturbance just after 11 p.m. because her brother wouldn’t go to the store to get her cigarettes. Police said she agreed to quiet down for the night.
David G. Stankiewicz, 32, of 6 Bartholomew Terrace, Peabody, was arrested at 3:54 p.m. on Lynnfield Street and charged with driving with an expired license.
Cynthia Rovendro, 40, of 24 Mason Court, Amesbury, was arrested at 1:07 p.m. at Sears and charged with shoplifting over $100.
Shaun Sbriglia, 24, of 150 Hobart St., Danvers, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. on Cherry Street and charged with driving with a suspended license.
A copper downspout was reported stolen from St. Mary Church on Conant Street.
James Richardson, 45, of 42 Summer St., Danvers, was arrested on Maple Street and charged with larceny over $250 and with malicious or wanton damage or defacement.
A resident of Pinecliff Drive reported that a houseboat had washed ashore.
A Cloutmans Lane resident told police that there were three street signs in her backyard and she wasn’t sure how they got there.
Police received a report at 12:08 a.m. of four kids driving a golf cart and spinning out on Elm Street. Officer Timothy Morley followed the tracks and located the golf cart on High Street. Morley spoke with the golf cart driver’s parents, who assured him the golf cart would be put away for the rest of the night.
Alex McMaster, 38, of 8 Walnut St., Apt. 105, Peabody, was arrested at 6:56 p.m. and charged with rape.
Jonathan N. Brewster, 47, of 17 Nicholson St., Marblehead, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, and domestic assault and battery.
