Robert Hadden, 24, homeless, was arrested on charges of reckless operation of a vehicle and drug possession with the intent to distribute after a car crashed into a building at 224 Elliott St. at 5:55 a.m.

A car was reported stolen at 191 Cabot St. at 1 p.m.

Gary L. Farnham, 31, of Lynn was arrested at 10:25 p.m. on Front Street on charges of assault, disorderly conduct, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, destruction of property, and resisting arrest.


A past burglary at 76 Cabot St. was reported at 2:40 a.m.

Vandalism to a car was reported at 8:35 a.m. on Manor Road.

A pedestrian was struck in a parking lot on Elliott Street at 4:17 p.m. An ambulance responded, but the victim suffered only minor injuries, police said.



A caller from 22 Pulaski St. told police at 7:03 p.m. that her son had been struck by a vehicle while he was walking home on King Street after school the day before. The child reported that a red Toyota had “bumped him,” resulting in a bruised knee.


Police received a 9:22 a.m. report from a 13-year-old boy who said a man in a black Jeep Wrangler had pulled up and waved him over while the teen was waiting for the school bus on Endicott Street. The boy didn’t go over to the vehicle, and the man took off without saying anything, Lt. Arthur Yeo said. Police checked the area for the suspect, who was described as a white man in his 40s, balding with white hair, but were unable to locate him. Police advised the boy and his mother to contact them if they saw him again.

Two table saws were stolen during a residential break-in on Harrison Avenue, according to a 10:59 a.m. report.
