Police: Driver hits 4 cars, fence

SALEM — A driver was arrested Monday night after he crashed into string of parked cars and a fence on Tremont Street, police said.

Bryan G. Buckley, 33, of 17 Cushing St., Salem, was charged with drunken driving and operating at a speed greater than reasonable.

Police responded to 91 Tremont St. after an 8:06 p.m. report of a motor vehicle accident.

According to the log, Buckley was driving his 2012 Toyota when he struck four parked cars on Tremont Street, including a 2007 Mitsubushi and a 2003 Ford. His vehicle sustained front-end damage during the incident.

Buckley’s vehicle also struck a fence at 86 Fremont St., according to the log.

There were no reported injuries, though Buckley was transported to Salem Hospital after the incident.

Both Buckley’s Toyota and the Mitsubishi he hit were towed from the scene, police said.
