Police received a 10:37 a.m. report that a “random scooter” had been left next to a garage on Pleasant Street.
The windows of two vehicles on Rockaway Avenue were smashed, according to a 10:46 a.m. report.
A Ruby Avenue man reported at 10:09 p.m. that he had been “driving around smoking marijuana” when a man he was with “became violent towards him.”
A Londonderry Road man reported finding a Texas Instruments calculator on his lawn at 11:40 a.m. An officer determined it had been taken during a recent break-in to a car on Leggs Hill Road.
Police responded to a 10:46 p.m. report of a loud party at Market Square. They determined four people were watching the Super Bowl. “They will quiet down,” wrote an officer.
Police received a 7:06 p.m. report that a drunk man was throwing things at cars at Kernwood and Crescent avenues, but a search of the area didn’t yield anything suspicious.
An employee at TJ Maxx at 17 Traders Way reported at 5:06 p.m. that a male customer had been “leaving her notes” and making her feel uncomfortable over the past week. Police were called back to the store at 6:31 p.m. for a report of a suspicious man who was making the staff uncomfortable — police will summons the man on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a license.
A King Street woman reported small footprints in the snow going to her back door and garage at 5:36 p.m. “Unknown who made the prints,” wrote police. They led away toward Nursery Street, according to the log.
An 8:03 p.m. report of a domestic dispute at 85 Tremont St. resulted in the arrest of Michael John Picanco, 45, of 4 Berry St., Peabody, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
A 4:26 p.m. report that a man had stolen a Coach bag from the Macy’s at the Northshore Mall resulted in the arrest of Dan Shoup, 43, of 15 Fall St., Lynn, on a charge of shoplifting over $100.
Police responded to a 7:57 p.m. report of two “unruly” customers at the Courthouse Pub at 43 Central St. and subsequently arrested Jill Fountaine, 40, of 72 Beaver St., Apt 1., Salem, on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon, and David Eaton, 47, of the same address, on a charge of assault and battery, malicious destruction of property over $250, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. An officer said Fountaine threatened a patron with a knife and Eaton assaulted a bar employee during the disturbance.
An officer at Lynn Street and Aberdeen Avenue at 8:38 p.m. arrested Thomas Chausse, 23, of 1 Fenton St., Peabody, on charges of drunken driving, second offense; negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation.
