Police received a 7:52 a.m. report that a 16-year-old on Washington Street was refusing to go to school.
A caller from Gilbert Heights Road requested a detective in regards to a harassment issue at 5:43 p.m. Police later determined the woman was drunk. “No harassment or anything close,” wrote police.
A dog was tied to a tree at 20 James St., according to a 12 p.m. report.
Police received a 3:32 p.m. report of “threats from contractor” at 10 Juniper St.
A 5:04 p.m. report of a domestic disturbance brought police to 139 Park St. Subsequently arrested was Paul Fessenden, 23, of the same address, on a charge of domestic assault.
An apartment at 12 Blaine Ave. was vandalized, according to a 7:49 p.m. report.
An 11:14 p.m. report that somebody’s sister was “on a tirade” brought police to 16 Agate St. Marc Frazier, 33, of the same address, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery. Officer Dave Costa said Frazier allegedly slammed a door and threw a lamp against a wall during a confrontation with his sister. No injuries were reported.
A $100 sign for a business at 142 Canal St. was torn in half at some point overnight, according to an 8:34 a.m. report.
A $620 stove that had been removed by the Fire Department from a home at 2 Flint St. after a stove fire was subsequently stolen from the sidewalk, according to a 10:23 a.m. report.
Police received a 4:04 p.m. report of “trash dumping over the seawall” at 9 Conners Road.
A 6:32 p.m. report of a shoplifter brought police to 227 Highland Ave., where they arrested Sean Slattery, 40, of 10 Harvard Ave., Saugus, on charges of malicious destruction of property over $250 and attempting to commit a crime. He was also the subject of two warrants.
Police will issue two ordinance violations for owning a disorderly house to the owner of 3 Geneva St. after determining that he hadn’t taken enough action to curb loud parties, according to a 9:09 p.m. report.
