Salem sets kindergarten info night

SALEM — Parents of children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31 are invited to a kindergarten information night on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

The event will be held in the auditorium at Salem High School, 77 Willson St.

Registration materials will be given out, and parents can learn about the steps necessary for registering their child for kindergarten, associated timelines, details about the district curriculum and information related to the school choice process.

Contact the Salem Public Schools’ Parent Information Center at 978-740-1281 for more information. In case of snow, the event will be rescheduled to Thursday, Feb. 28, at 6:30 p.m.
