Michael Douglas, 24, of 13 River St., Lynn, was arrested at 3:10 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery at Tidd Street residence.

Arthur Weglewski, 44, of 3 Meaders Lane, Salisbury, was arrested at 1:12 a.m. and charged with drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage following a motor vehicle crash on Dayton Street by West Street.
Monique Gonyea, 28, of 286 Highland Ave., Salem, was arrested at 3:13 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at Claire's Boutique at the Liberty Tree Mall.

Police took a report at 1:28 a.m. of a suspicious person at Twin Oaks Nursing Home on Locust Street.
Lance Davis, 23, of 29 Locust St., Danvers, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. and charged with drunken driving and a marked lane violation following a motor vehicle stop on Maple Street.
Nnamdi Nwangwu, 20, and Raluchukwu Nwangwu, 18, both of 31 Doncaster Circle, Lynnfield, were arrested at 1:54 p.m. and charged with shoplifting at Walmart.

Police received a report at 3:07 p.m. of a man passed out on the ground at the Foster Street municipal parking lot. Police responded and found the man was not passed out, but just taking a nap.
Saturday
Police received a report at 1:24 p.m. of a car break-in on Summit Terrace.
A 16-year-old will be summonsed to juvenile court on charges of using a motor vehicle without authority, driving while unlicensed, and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage following a hit and run crash. The crash on Washington Street at the Main Street intersection damaged a 2001 Audi A6. Police found the other vehicle involved, a 2001 GMC pickup that was leaking radiator fluid, in a vacant lot on Hardy Street.
Michael Rompa, 34, of the Massachusetts Correctional Institute in Concord, will be summonsed to court on a charge of violating a restraining order, following a report at 5:44 p.m. that he called a woman on the phone.

Ernest J. Doucette, 64, of 1013 Camelot Drive, Exeter, N.H., was arrested at 7:22 p.m. and charged with drunken driving, assault and battery, and unsafe lane change following a motor vehicle crash on Bridge Bypass Road. The victim told police he flagged Doucette down after he sideswiped his car, rushed at him and grabbed onto his chest. The victim said Doucette got back in his car when the victim said he was calling the police. Police searched the car after his arrest and found three empty mini-bottles of wine.
Police received a report at 8:05 p.m. of bogus Travelor's checques being used at CVS at 272 Highland Ave.
Cristina M. Colon, 20, of 44 Rainbow Terrace, Salem, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, intimidation of a witness, possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, and possession of a firearm without a permit following a report at 5:15 a.m. a person being threatened by another woman with a silver handgun. Police applied for and were granted a warrant and reported finding a .22-caliber pistol in her closet.

Police received a report at 11:13 a.m. from a Valley Street resident who said someone entered four unlocked cars in her driveway. The only thing stolen was an $80 diaper bag from Pottery Barn with a girl's name stitched on the front.
Police received a report at 6:02 p.m. of a car parked on Canal Street with hair on the hood. Police responded and found the hair was only a hairball. There was no damage to the car.
Police received a report at 6:47 p.m. of a couple having sex in a car near the pond at Greenlawn Cemetery. Police found the two people, who were drunk, and they were taken into protective custody.
Mark Vandell, 32, of 26 Carson Terrace, Swampscott, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property on Essex Street.
Police received a report at 8:48 p.m. of a break-in at a Leach Street home that happened some time in the past two weeks while the residents were on vacation.
Police received a report at 9:27 p.m. of a car break-in on New Liberty Street.

Robert W. Sherry, 68, of 51 Lafayette St., Salem, was arrested at 1:07 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct on Lafayette Street and New Derby Street following a man yelling at a group of people across the street and refusing to quiet down.
Dominic J. Verga, 22, of 4 Rio Drive, Gloucester, and Shane M. Wilson, 22, of 16 Summer St., Gloucester, were arrested at 1:16 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct after police told them to leave numerous times because they were unruly, loud and belligerent on Lafayette Street.
Cedric A. Ashley, 26, of 26 Prince St., Milton, was arrested at 1:20 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery following a report of a fight on Washington Street.
Nathaniel D. Burne, 20, of 448 Great Western Road, Harwich, R.I.; Tyler M. Fitzmaurice, 20, of 9 Frankie Lane, North Grafton; Edmund T. Hammond, 20, of 2 Jabour Park, Methuen; and Amber L. McFadden, 19, of 71 Loring Ave., Salem, were arrested at 2:23 a.m. and charged with illegal carrying/transporting alcohol following a report of suspicious activity in a parked car on Cherry Street. Police responded and found a bottle of Olde English 800 in the back seat of the car. Police also found a backpack with seven beer cans and one beer bottle. All four denied ownership of the backpack.
Eugene J. Morency, 31, of 9 Cloutman St., Salem, was arrested at 11:25 a.m. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, threatening to commit a crime, and aggravated assault and battery following a report of a domestic dispute at his residence.
Police received a report at 2:35 p.m. of damage to a backhoe at Salem High School.
