Monday

Khaled R. Al-Khatib, 21, of 42 Common St., Quincy, was arrested by Salem State College police at 7:25 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license and a stop-sign violation, following a motor vehicle stop on Lafayette Street.

A Witchcraft Heights mother called police at 9:51 p.m. following a dispute with her son over him not cleaning his room. The officer was able to reach an agreement between the mother and the son.

Tuesday

Police received two reports at 6 a.m. of car break-ins at a Cedar Street home and later two reports of car break-ins at 9:45 a.m. on Hibernia Lane. The cars on Cedar Street had their windows smashed, and the cars on Hibernia Lane were left unlocked.

Michael J. Bohoy, 60, of 302 Lafayette St., Salem, was arrested at 11 a.m. and charged with passing a false prescription at Walgreens on New Derby Street.

Beverly

Monday

Police received a report at 4 p.m. of shoplifters at Stop & Shop on Enon Street.

Paul M. Fessenden, 21, of 139 Park St., Beverly, was arrested at 4:23 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery, witness intimidation, assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, and resisting arrest, following a well-being check on Park Street.

Jane A. Haviland, 63, of 12 Orchard St., Beverly, was arrested at 5:12 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery at her residence.

Police received a report at 8:50 p.m. of a fence damaged by fire on Dearborn Avenue.

Eric R. LaPointe, 17, of 51 Pulaski St., Peabody, and Joshua M. Richter, 20, of 13 First St., Ipswich, were arrested at 3:34 a.m. and each charged with possession of burglary tools, following a report of a suspicious car in the area of Bridge Street.

Police received a report at 9:10 a.m. of a drunken man sleeping on the dock at an industrial park on West Dane Street.

Peabody

Monday

Darlene M. Coleman, 51, of 24 Surfside Road, Apt. 5, Lynn, and Anthony L. Tate, 50, of 38 Hanover St., Lynn, were arrested at 4:25 p.m. and each charged with shoplifting (third offense) at J.C. Penney. Tate was also charged with trespassing.

Marissa Connors, 35, of 570 Mountain Ave., Revere, was arrested at 5:14 p.m. and charged with trespassing, larceny (more than $250) and four counts of drug possession, following a report of a trespasser at Gap.

Sean C. Bussey, 41, of 9 Billow Ave., Revere, was arrested at 6:25 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license, following a security at Northshore Mall reported a problem with a customer at The North Face.

Shauna M. Iudice, 24, of 72 Lowell St., Apt. 1, Peabody, was arrested at 6:48 p.m. domestic assault and child endangerment while driving under the influence, following a domestic disturbance at her residence.

Daniel R. Downey, 51, of 5 Esquire Circle, Apt. 1, Peabody, was arrested at 9:02 p.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, following a report of a fight on Caller Street.

Tuesday

Matthew T. Hames, 28, of 1 MacArthur Circle, Apt. A, Peabody, was arrested at 7 a.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed, driving with a revoked registration, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and illegally attaching plates, following a motor vehicle stop on Lynn Street.

Police received a report at 1 p.m. of a break-in of a truck belonging to A&M Trucks on Foster Street.

Danvers

Tuesday

Paul Richardson, 56, of 44 Jordan St., Beverly, was arrested at 2:46 p.m. and charged with drunken driving on Ash Street.

Boxford

Tuesday

John DiNuccio, 48, of 6 Foster St., Boxford, was arrested at 2:18 p.m., following a weeklong investigation of marijuana plants being grown in a swamp on his 6-acre property. Patrolman Brian Neeley arrested DiNuccio after flying over the property in a state police helicopter in the morning. Police obtained a search warrant and found 26 marijuana plants varying in height from 18 inches to 6 feet. The plants were taken from the property, as was cultivation equipment from inside the home. Police charged DiNuccio with cultivating a controlled substance (marijuana), second offense.
