Shooting in Marblehead is 'non-suspicious,' authorities say

MARBLEHEAD — A fatal shooting reported in Marblehead this evening has been confirmed as non-suspicious, according to the Essex County District Attorney's office.

Marblehead police Chief Robert O. Picariello said in an email that the shooting appears self-inflicted and the incident is under investigation.

The shooting was reported at a home on Lincoln Park earlier this evening. A police officer at the scene said the incident as a suicide.
