A 23-year-old man was transported to Beverly Hospital with leg pain after he was struck by a vehicle as he bicycled northbound on Cabot Street about 5 p.m. The vehicle had been traveling southbound and attempting to turn left on Dane Street. An officer said that the driver — identified as Troh Trowon, 51, of Salem — was cited, but was unable to say for what violation. Police declined to identify the victim.



Around 2:30 a.m., an officer at Boston Street and Ipswich Road arrested Jennifer Libby, 26, of 75 Lepage Lane, Gloucester, on a charge of drunken driving.



Police responded to a 6:30 p.m. report of an unwanted guest at the Candlelite Motor Inn on Main Street and arrested Craig Labrie, 30, of 40 Bartlett St., Beverly, on charges of domestic assault and battery, disorderly conduct, possession of a class B substance, possession of a class C substance and three counts of possession of a class E substance.
