A Pierce Street woman reported at 10:23 a.m. that her neighbor had been “leaving harassing and threatening notes on her door and is calling her names and has asked her to leave the neighborhood,” according to the log. Police wrote that the woman was going to have a no-trespass order issued to the neighbor in question. “All of this stems from barking dogs,” an officer wrote.

A woman on Central Street complained at 11:36 a.m. that her kids couldn’t nap because of the “Mexican folk music” a construction crew was playing as they worked nearby. Police wrote later: “Spoke to the workers and they have kindly agreed to turn down the music.”

A Broughton Road man reported at 8:37 p.m. that his son had stolen an iPod and money from his brother and “won’t give it back.” The man later approached police and “asked to have any charges against his son dismissed,” according to the log.

A Pond Street woman reported at 8:47 p.m. that a drunken man had shown up at her house and “she doesn’t want him around.” Police wrote later: “She allowed him in and will take care of him tonight.”

Police responded to a 1:51 p.m. report that a group of people were “drinking outside and cursing” at a Pleasant Street address. An officer wrote later: “Small group talking out front. No disturbance.”

A cab driver reported at 11:20 p.m. that somebody had shot a BB through his windshield as he drove inbound on Atlantic Avenue. “There is a hole in the window,” wrote an officer. “He heard it but didn’t see anything.”

Saturday

Police were unable to locate anything amiss after a man reported at 4:20 a.m. that he had heard two people going through cars on Atlantic Avenue. “He stated that he could not get a description because he did not see them,” wrote police.
