A 1:42 a.m. report that a woman was screaming brought police to 7 Munroe St., where they determined a “highly intoxicated” woman was arguing with her mother because the latter didn’t want the former’s friend in the house because he was a “drunk.” The man in question was transported to his residence on Cabot Street.

Police responded to a 10:34 a.m. report of a domestic dispute at 502 Cabot St. and subsequently arrested Gina Guidara, 30, of 28 Poplar St., Beverly, on a charge of possession of a class D drug with intent to distribute. Also arrested was Brian P. Kopp, 31, homeless, on charges of possession of a class D drug with intent to distribute, disorderly conduct and a violation of the city’s knife and weapons ordinance.



Police responded to 75 Palmer St. after a 4:07 p.m. report that somebody had been robbed at knifepoint on August 23.

A 5:45 p.m. report of a domestic dispute brought police to 16 Phillips St., where they determined two sisters had been arguing over a kitten.

Police received a 9:12 p.m. report that a vehicle near 21 Lee St. had been broken into. A neighbor said she had seen two young males near the vehicle and heard a car alarm sound; the pair fled toward Orne Street. Police searched the area with aid from a K9 unit but were unable to locate them.


An unlocked vehicle near 20 Columbus Ave. had been broken into overnight and change stolen from its ashtray, according to an 8:39 a.m. report.

A 9:36 a.m. report of a disturbance brought police to 40 Pingree St., where they determined a 17-year-old was arguing with his or her 22-year-old sibling over a cellphone charger.

Police received a 9:58 a.m. report that an unlocked vehicle at 122 Bay View Ave. had been broken into and a medication bottle stolen.
