An unlocked vehicle at 75 Columbus Ave. had been broken into overnight and a television stolen, according to a 12:37 p.m. log item.

Police received a 12:50 p.m. report of a domestic dispute on Chestnut Street and arrested Hugh Kerr, 61, of 4 Chestnut St., Salem, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Police received a 6:36 p.m. report that a truck on Heritage Drive had been smeared with peanut butter.



A 1:01 p.m. report of a domestic dispute between brothers at the CAB facility on Middleton Road resulted in the arrest of Gregory Vigliotta, 43, of 7 Coolidge Road, Danvers, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Police responded to a 1:30 p.m. report of shoplifting at Kohl’s on Independence Way and arrested Laura Mickelson, 51, of 11 Gloucester Ave., Gloucester, on a charge of larceny over $250.
