A Lynn Street woman reported at 12:32 p.m. she could hear “yelling” and “glass breaking” at a neighbor’s residence. An officer wrote later: “Verbal argument between siblings.”
Police responded to a 1:48 p.m. report that a male had carried a golf club into the D & R Market on Foster Street. An officer “sent him on his way,” according to the log.
Police received a 7:53 p.m. report that children had been left in a car at Wal-Mart on Brooksby Village Drive, but an officer was unable to locate them.
A 9:51 p.m. report of an assault at 45 Baker Ave. resulted in the arrest of Cameron Stewart Regan, 21, of the same address, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
Police were unable to locate a loud group that was reported to be in the parking lot at 401 Manor Road at 11:16 p.m.
Officers responded to Hale and Dane streets after a 1:15 a.m. report that an intoxicated person was riding a bicycle with a golf club and determined that the male had actually crashed into a parked vehicle, “causing the windshield to crack.” Police were going to notify the vehicle’s owner later in the morning; it was unclear from the log if a golf club was actually involved.
Officers were unable to locate a group of people who were reported to be arguing in the street at Rantoul and Fayette streets at 1:19 a.m.
Police were unable to locate a male who “looks in need of help” at Exit 20B on Route 128 at 12:31 p.m.
A 5:12 p.m. report that a male was walking in the breakdown lane brought police to Exit 18 of Route 128, where they determined he was “trying to get to Maine to find work as a commercial fisherman.” An officer dropped him off in Gloucester.
