A 3:58 p.m. report that somebody had a knife brought police to the High Street playground. “Upon arrival I observed a few youths in the playground,” an officer wrote. “I asked them to come over so I could speak with them. I asked them all if they had any weapons on them. They all stated no. Due to safety of other youths in the playground, I conducted a pat frisk for weapons and discovered a 3-inch knife in the pocket” of one boy. The officer confiscated the knife and contacted the youth’s mother.
