69-year-old man dies at Salem marina

SALEM — An unidentified Lynn man was pronounced dead at Salem Hospital early Saturday after falling off a boat at Brewer’s Hawthorne Cove Marine.

The 69-year-old man was visiting a boat owner when he apparently fell while stepping on to the boat around 1 a.m. Saturday, according to police. He was out of the water and unresponsive by the time police arrived.

Police are waiting for autopsy results.
