---- — WENHAM —The mandatory watering ban has been lifted in town.
The ban was put into effect at the end of August due to low water flow in the Ipswich River.
“Although conservation is always necessary and encouraged, we are now in a position to once again allow outdoor watering, car washing, etc.,” said Erik Mansfield, superintendent of the town’s water department.
“The Water Department would like to thank the majority of residents for complying with the water ban and for their understanding and cooperation.”
