Tuesday

A Colgate Road woman reported at 9:17 a.m. that she’d received a “disturbing call on her cellphone accusing her of stealing.” Police wrote: “She stated that she is a multimillionaire and is bothered about that, and she wouldn’t steal a paper clip.”

Police conducted a traffic stop on Pleasant Street at 10:03 a.m. and subsequently arrested Jonathan E. Gerson, 28, of 83 Pleasant St., Apt. 6, Marblehead, on charges of possession of a class A drug and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Tuesday

A male was transported to Salem Hospital via ambulance after a 5:01 p.m. report that he’d fallen off a bike near 7 Sandra Road and was bleeding from his ear.

Wednesday

A Krochmal Road resident reported at 7:23 a.m. that a female “was just dropped off in front of the house with a suitcase” and was “sitting on the curb.” Police wrote later: “The officer stated that the female lives a few houses down. She will be going back to her residence.”

Swampscott

Tuesday

Police received a 1:06 p.m. report that a female with two children had stolen a Red Sox shirt from the Olympia Sports store on Paradise Road.

A woman reported at 4:55 p.m. that she had tried to return an iPad at Radio Shack on Paradise Road, but the “manager stated they don’t have enough money to give her for the return.” An officer wrote later: “They were able to work it out.”

Wednesday

A 9:09 a.m. report of a man in a sleeping bag brought police to 315 Rantoul St. An officer wrote later: “Party stated [he] was in between places to stay. Will make plans to find shelter. Advised to leave garage area. Clear.”

Police received a 1:33 p.m. report that a man was throwing leaves into the street at Charnock Street and Pierce Avenue, but an officer was unable to locate him.

Tuesday

A man reported at 4:21 p.m. that two $178 humidifiers had been stolen from an apartment at 20 Mason St.

A 4:35 p.m. report that people were drinking liquor at the beach area of Forest River Park resulted in the arrest of David Alan Cook, 50, of 6 Southern Manor, Ipswich, on a charge of drinking in public.

Officers were dispatched to 54 Lawrence St. after a 5:29 p.m. report of a dispute and determined people there had ordered food from Sammy’s Roast Beef and then called to cancel the order before it was delivered. Police told the delivery driver it was a civil matter.

Police responded to 27 Fairview Road after a 7:45 p.m. report of a domestic dispute and determined two people were “yelling at each other over a piece of pie.” Police wrote later: “Mom stepped in to stop the screaming and the two were separated ... both were advised to keep a distance from each other for the remainder of the evening.”

Officers were unable to locate a suspicious male who was reported to be “wearing a gas mask and carrying an ax” in the area of 43 Church St. at 8:53 p.m.

An 11:42 p.m. report that a door had been kicked brought police to 149 Federal St. Subsequently arrested was Jessica Louise Malone, 31, of 149 Federal St., Salem, on charges of disturbing the peace and malicious destruction of property over $250.

Wednesday

Police received a 9:52 a.m. report that a scarecrow decoration had been stolen from the front lawn of 5 Taft Road.

About 2:45 p.m., an officer responded to 112 Loring Ave. to serve a warrant with charges of prescription fraud and scheme to fraud out of Florida. Subsequently arrested was Michelle R. Walsh, 43, of the same address, on a charge of being a fugitive from justice.
