Tuesday

Police received a report at 8:05 p.m. of a car stolen from an address on Cabot Street near Hale Street.

Police received a report at 9:01 p.m. of vandalism to a car. The mirror was broken.

Wednesday

Police received a report at 7 a.m. of two cars broken into on Winthrop Avenue.

Police received two reports at 7:20 a.m. of a car broken into on Beverly Commons Drive.

Police received a report at 9:39 a.m. of a hole cut in the fence at the National Grid yard on River Street.

Salem

Tuesday

Police received a report at 11:20 p.m. of kids kicking an opossum at Armory Park in the downtown area.

Wednesday

Police received a report at 8:12 a.m. of a car break-in on Oakview Avenue. A GPS and approximately $30 in change was stolen.

Police received a report at 8:19 a.m. of several tools stolen from a home under construction on School Street.

Police received reports at 11:09 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. of car break-ins on Cedarhill Road and Cedarview Street. Both streets are in south Salem.

Ipswich

Aug. 24

Joshua A. L'Hamon, 25, of 22 Dunham Road, Beverly, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding, following a motor vehicle stop on Topsfield Road.

Monday

William Gaynor III, 63, of 63 Central St., Rowley, was arrested at 9:53 p.m. and charged with drunken driving (third offense) and a marked-lanes violation, following a report of an erratic driver on Market Street.

Tuesday

Edward Mullins, 24, of 8 Putnam Ave., Ipswich, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct on Hammatt Street.

Peabody

Tuesday

Police responded to the Skechers shoe store at the Northshore Mall at 4:26 p.m., following a report of a solicitor. Police told the solicitor to stay off mall property and that he can't solicit in the city anymore.
